The Best Sales People Are Those Who Know How To Build Excellent Relationships

In business everything works around the customer. The sole purpose of the business is to resolve the problems or provide solutions to its customers. As it’s said “A customer is the most important visitor on our premises; he is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption to our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider in our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favour by serving him. He is doing a favour by giving us an opportunity to do so.”-Gandhi .Having said that the best sales people are those who know how to build excellent relationships.

The sales people are the true face of the business. They are the ones who actually interact with the customers and get to know their needs and requirements. Excellent sales people would be those who would not just focus on numbers but those who would consider customers as their priority, the ones who would be good listeners, who have belief in their product and know in and out about it, who are prepared to anticipate the questions of the customer and answer them effectively, and empathetic enough to understand the problems of their customers putting themselves in their shoes and providing solutions to them.

So, “Learn to sell. In business you’re always selling: to your prospects, investors and employees. To be the best salesperson put yourself in the shoes of the person to whom you’re selling. Don’t sell your product. Solve their problems.”-Mark Cuban

Failure Is Very Much A Part Of Success

Have you ever failed in life??If your answer is ‘no’ then unfortunately you have not tried enough because Failure is very much a part of Success. With every failed attempt you move a step away from your imperfection and move a step closer to wisdom and success.

Leaders always lead the way through example. Even greatest of leaders like Steve jobs had to face innumerable failed attempts .But what kept him moving was his unquenchable thirst for excellence and his tireless efforts. Look around you!!Even tiniest of creatures like spiders will encourage you to keep trying and not giving up which also inspired great King Bruce to fight back and not give up. If you want to succeed you should be willing to fail and learn from your mistakes.

Remember: Never fear to fail… The day of your failure will not be the day to grieve but the day to rejoice that you have crossed one more bridge and are moving closer to your goal to success and the day to get ready for the next upcoming Challenge. So keep moving forward. You never know when success comes knocking at your door….Knock Knock!!!

No Dream Is Too Big And No Dreamer Too Small

What are dreams? If you go by the dictionary meaning the answer is that a dream is a cherished aspiration, ambition, or ideal. You will not find a single person in this world who doesn’t dream big. But not everybody’s dream comes to reality. The reason is some dream big and does every possible thing to achieve it while others just forget it…The former set of people are the ones who dare to dream big, achieve bigger and inspire others.

A boy next door called Sachin Tendulkar was a lad from a middle class family just like you and me. But his dreams were of the moon and stars which seemed almost impossible to achieve….but he went on to make history….The only thing that kept him going was his big dream, his attitude, perseverance and the fire in him that not only elevated him to great heights but illuminated and inspired the lives of so many others who didn’t dare to even see such dreams. Sir Roger Bannister was the first man to run a mile in under four minutes. Up until he did it in 1954, most people thought the four-minute mark was impossible to break. They thought the human body couldn’t physically go that fast .No-one could run a mile in less than four minutes. It was an impossible feat. That was, until Bannister proved everyone wrong, training in his own way, and believing that he could do it. That’s the quality of great dreamers. They are like the candle that burns itself and brightens up the life of others with new hope and inspiration. But if they can do it you can do it too. If you imbibe the qualities of self-discipline and perseverance, take up new challenges in life, do the things that you were procrastinating nobody can stop you from achieving your dreams and in the process you can become the guiding light that inspires many others in their path to success.

Here, I remember a beautiful quote from the movie Turbo “No dream is too big and no dreamer too small”. Big dreams not only bring hope to your life but hope and inspiration in the lives of many others. So go on to dream big, work towards it and inspire others. Because nothing is impossible!!!
